A photo puzzle feels different
A holiday snapshot, a pet doing something ridiculous, a family picture with everyone finally looking at the camera: familiar photos make surprisingly good puzzles. You already know the image, but you get to rediscover every little part.
Puzzle Lab is designed like a loose tabletop jigsaw. Pieces can sit anywhere in the play area, and matching neighbors connect and move together. There is no numbered grid telling you where a piece must go.
Pick a picture with something to discover
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image and choose twelve, twenty-four, forty-eight or ninety-six pieces. Twelve makes a quick introduction; ninety-six gives a detailed picture more room to become a challenge.
Photos with varied colors and distinct edges are easier to sort. A blue sky with no detail may be beautiful, but it makes for surprisingly similar pieces.
Build wherever it makes sense
Move loose pieces around, work on the corners, or collect pieces with similar colors. When two correct neighbors meet, they snap together and move as one.
A timer tracks each attempt. Shared puzzles have individual top-ten leaderboards, and qualifying players can save a three-letter name.
Share the link, not your private life
Anyone with the link may view the image. Ask for permission before uploading pictures of other people, particularly children, and avoid documents or photographs with sensitive information.
Puzzles expire after thirty days, so keep the original image if you want it forever.
